What should I charge for ransom?

My neighbour on his way to work, forgot to lock his door, I broke in and stole their daughter, I left a ransom note written in multiple peoples blood, thing is, I never wrote I expected... Should I just expect I'll get something good at the rendezvous or should I send another note? If so, what should I demand?
