Who is the oldest child in the Ransom of Mercy Carter?

I was reading this book with a few friends, who think Sarah Hoyt is the oldest child in the group of children that travel together on the journey in the wilderness. I thought it was Ruth who was oldest. Is it Ruth or Sarah or somebody entirely different?
