Is pay tv bad for AFL?

, , i can only go by my experience, when ever richmond is on fox-tel & i cant get Access , to either tv or the live game, & sometimes even radio !!! i become disinterested. i feel as though i am being held to ransom. it is fact that the more footy that is taken from us , the more memberships the AFL loses, this has been proven. the numbers dont lie. not every one can afford pay tv, am i on my own or is greed good ?
