Is Lusaka, Zambia a nice holiday?

I'm going there for a couple of months, and I don't like going to african countries /: I'm scared I might get malaria or something but myy family are really ritch and they have a lovely house with a gym and swimming pool and my mum is telling me it will be FUN & don't worry. But is the plane trip nice , did you enjoy it there? Please let me know
