Christians, if "Jesus died to pay God for our sins" is the truth, why wasn't that taught until 1090?

Uh...sorry dude, but the Torah has plenty of references about the Messiah redeeming man from sin. This idea goes a hell of a lot farther back than 1090. Did you really think that you had a tiger by the tail? :D
