Credit Card for Southwest's "Bags Fly Free"?

I am trying to buy a plane ticket from Southwest Airlines for my girlfriend, who lives in California. She is moving here to Colorado, so she was attracted to the "bags fly free" campaign. If i purchase her a ticket from southwest, can she still check her two free bags and get through security without having my credit card on her? Any help is greatly appreciated.
